Royal wedding yarn.

This week is all about getting ready for the launch of the Royal Wedding Yarn. Boxes have been designed and are currently at the box printers/makers. Certificates are being made too, and the pattern is also being knitted ready for the launch.

The yarn is deliciously gorgoeus. Its a limited edition lace yarn with 65% Merino, 10% Royal Alpaca, 20% Silk and 5% Stellina Sparkles. Its in the colour sapphire...the colour of THE engagement ring, its the most beautiful blue colour.

It comes gift boxed with a certificate, each which is individually numbered.

The shawl to accompany the yarn is being designed by the very talented Anniken Allis I will post pics as soon as we have photos :)

I am hoping for the yarn to go on sale around the 28th of March, you can preregister here to get the inside scoop...your email address will be added to a special list.

Here is the yarn...yum yum yum!

Click, Click, Giggle, Giggle

And that is pretty much how last weekend went!

Jen here (not Jeni!). I have just borrowed the blog again to tell you a bit about the fun we had at the weekend on the photo shoot for the Scrumptious Pattern Collection. We just can't wait to unveil the collection to you all. In the meantime, here are a few top tips for surviving a photo shoot.

1. Don't travel without plenty to eat and drink.

I'm not sure that I'm brave enough to admit to you how many iced and spiced buns I ate over the weekend, but it's likely I will turn in to one quite soon.

2. Make sure that your models can rock the Slanket look. Camilla and Lily were brilliant.

3. Pencils don't make the best knitting needles, so don't forget to pack the knitting essentials.

If all of you are knitters, surely someone will bring needles for yarnbombing?

4. Have a wonderful photographer with a great eye for the perfect shot. Thanks Amanda!

5. Be sure to choose lovely, smiley and gigglesome people to work with.

Nic you are a legend. And thank you so much once again, Jeni, for letting me be a part of this exciting venture.

Crazy good times :)

Well you know me, its crazy, I never knew things could get busier, I seem to adjust to busyness and then it gets busier. However I have had some awesome help from Jen AC and Mum. Jen is Uber organised and she stops me from feeling like I will forget everything, which is the only thing that ever stresses me out. I can cope with crazy, but fear of forgetting makes me anxious! And my mum is just the best at doing all sorts of things, ordering boxes, filling out forms, making me finish tasks when I am flitting, got to love it really :)

And.... I am not complaining, I am enjoying this so so much I feel like the business has been catapulted into a whole new realm of being, I feel like everything else up to now was about preparing me if that makes any sense at all.

So.....the wedding yarn is here and oh my goodness its GORGEOUS, we are waiting for boxes to be made and printed and also for the gorgoeus pattern too :) too exciting!

Also the photo shoot for the book  is at the weekend, and I am so damned excited about it, we will be taking photo's of this, I think there is going to be be uber amounts of laughter.

Oh and Unravel was soooo much fun, I had a new stand layout, I was kind of practicing for wonderwool and it went down so well, especially my teacups and suitcases!!

Ok thats enough, this is a bit of a fragmented post but I wanted to just check in ;)

Oh and shop update is here
